What Do We Really Do?
One of our advisers overheard a telephone call recently where a longstanding client said “Oh, you do life assurance too?” It came as a bit of a surprise to us that they didn’t know, so we thought it would be a good time to remind you of all the things Ovation is able to do.
It’s important to remember that our overall service is Helping people plan for their future. You already know we help with Coaching, Planning and your Cashflow, but what tools do we use to achieve that?
Firstly, we are accredited Pension Specialists, an award from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), few advisers achieve this level. It’s safe to say we know our stuff when it comes to retirement planning and all technical aspects of pensions.
We also advise people on their short term needs. Using ISAs and other investment vehicles such as OEICS, Investment Trusts, Investment Bonds and others, we help clients save for all sorts, e.g. school and university fees, purchasing a property or holiday home or even owning something they’ve always dreamt of, like a yacht.
We then invest the money according to the client’s risk profile and other considerations, such as ethical investing. We call this the Ovation Investment Service.
And we help people to plan for a time when they’re not with us anymore, buy helping them with inheritance tax, trusts and wills.
We help people plan for the worst. We all probably know someone who has suffered from Cancer or other serious illness. We can help with life assurance, critical illness cover and income protection.
A lot of our clients own their own businesses. We can therefore apply the areas outlined above to the specific needs of those business owner. This could be life assurance for share protection or key person insurance. It could be the best way to consider profit extraction or maybe develop a succession plan. We also help the employees through our financial wellbeing employee workshop.
To summarise, our approach to helping is our clients is Financial planning to make you happier as well as wealthier. We’ve been doing it since 2000, and we’re pretty good at it!
