Internet Explorer Settings – Version 6

Our portfolio service will work with Internet Explorer 6 with the default (medium) security settings.

• Please ensure that your browser is set to check for new copies of the page at every visit. To do this use Tools > Internet Options > General > Temporary Internet Files section > Settings button then click the ‘Every visit to the page’ radio button.
• We also require pop-ups to be allowed from our site. The default setting may not allow some 3rd party tools to open, in this case you can either hold the Ctrl key when clicking on the button to launch the tool or allow our site to open all Pop-up windows, to achieve this please follow these instructions:-
• Click on Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings and then enter www.fundsdirect.co.uk in the ‘Address of website to allow:’ box and then click the ‘Add’ button followed by the ‘Close’ button.
• If you use any 3rd party Pop-up blocker software you will need to follow their instructions to allow pop-ups from our website.
  

Internet Explorer Settings – Version 7

Our portfolio service will work with Internet Explorer 7 with the following settings:-

• Please enable Programmatic Clipboard Access, to do this click on Tools > Internet Options > Click the Security Tab (2nd from the left) Click on the ‘Custom Level’ button. Scroll down to the scripting section and find ‘Allow Programmatic Clipboard Access’ set this to ‘Enable’ Click on 'OK', if you receive the message ‘Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone’ Click on 'Yes' and then 'OK' to Save.
• Please ensure that your browser is set to check for new copies of the page at every visit. To do this use Tools > Internet Options in the Browsing History Section click the ‘Every time I visit the webpage’ radio button and then 'OK' to save.
• We also require pop-ups to be allowed from our site, if they are not enabled then follow these instructions Click on Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Disable popup blocker. You maybe prompted to allow pop ups from this site, if so add www.fundsdirect.co.uk into the appropriate box.
• If you use any 3rd party Pop-up blocker software you will need to follow their instructions to allow pop-ups from our website.
• Note: To set your security settings to the default click on:
  Tools > Internet Options > Security and then click on the ‘Default Level’ button
