How we work - our service defined
The Ovation retained service can be split into five distinct parts:
We will firstly meet with you in order to assess your requirements and objective. We may then have to gain information by investigating your existing financial affairs and products.
Once we have this information, we will be able to provide advice. This can mean helping with a particular issue (establishing investments, life assurance, etc), or more general planning (reviewing existing pensions, divorce matters, etc). Details of the individual services can be found under What We Do.
Next, once the advice has been refined (if necessary) and agreed, it must be actioned and implemented.
Finally, the advice must then be reviewed on a regular basis (usually annually). This is absolutely crucial, especially where investments or pensions are concerned, and yet is it extraordinary how few people monitor the performance of their funds. This is an area that we take very seriously here at Ovation.
