Witness the end of world poverty
I joined Ovation Finance after a move to Bristol from London where I spent 17 years working for Citibank Private Bank as a Relationship Manager looking after high net worth clients resident in East Africa which took me on many an interesting marketing trip and taught me a lot about the world (and anti-money laundering!).
I consider that I have always been blessed with fantastic colleagues – and bosses – and Ovation is no exception. I really do enjoy coming to work, and though clichéd, there really is never a dull day! I think we have a great ethos here – we work hard and play hard, and clients always come first.
When I am not at work, I will mainly be spending time with my family, cooking (and eating), running (due to all the eating), and trying to train our new Labrador pup, Mabel. I have spent the last three years designing and making silver jewellery in my spare time. I still have a lot to learn, but hope one day to make it into a lucrative sideline in my retirement – in addition to the excellent pension pot arranged by my employer of course!
