About the service
The Ovation Online Investment Service is designed to provide easy access to a secure online environment providing you with the freedom to review and manage your investments online.
This activity takes place under the umbrella of the wrap platform provided by Ascentric.
Like Ovation, Ascentric is unbiased and independent as well as providing access to a wide spread of Funds, Trusts, Bonds and Cash options (known as Asset allocations) which enable Ovation to match your attitude to risk and protect your performance.
Once the spread of assets has been agreed, specific funds and investments are selected within each asset class.
Ovation sets up the Portfolio on your behalf and clients can view their investments on line by logging in through this page. Of course, although it is useful to be able look at the performance of one's investments, it is important to remember that we are investing for the medium to long term. A short term gain - or loss - in a particular fund does not necessarily mean that any action should be taken.
The mechanism for change, if any change is needed, is the annual review meeting rather than a knee jerk reaction to market changes, as predicting market movements is a notoriously difficult business. However, if you would like to make any changes to your portfolio at any time throughout the year, please do not hesitate to contact Ovation.
